The Dog House, located in Marshall, Minnesota, is your premier destination for dog boarding and pet daycare services. Our professional, friendly staff are here to take care of your pet, whether it's for several days, or just while you're out running errands.

For your convenience, The Dog House is open 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM-12:00 PM and 3:00 PM-6:00 PM.

Included in the price of boarding are multiple services, including: a minimum of 5 hours of group play time*, administering any medications**, and supervised time with staff members. Please remember that you are booking our services, not a particular room. We will make sure your pet(s) are in the appropriate space to meet their needs.

Boarding starts at $32 for the first dog in the family, with a rate of $19 for each additional dog from the family. Boarding is charged by the night (Example: Drop off on Friday, pick up on Sunday - you pay for Friday and Saturday night).

*The Dog House is set up differently than a lot of other kennels. Play time is standard for all dogs, and as a result, a formal evaluation may be required prior to your dogs' visit if they have not boarded before or have previous recorded behavior issues, in order to determine whether our environment is the right fit for your dog(s). Please inquire with the staff.

**No injectable medications, please (insulin is acceptable, provided the needles are one-time use only and clearly labeled).

Cancellation Policy: We require notice of cancelled boarding at least 24 hours prior to the date booked. Failure to give 24 hour notice will results in a $25 cancellation fee for one dog, $35 cancellation fee for two or more dogs.

What To Bring

Required Items: Vet records (if necessary, we will let you know), leash, collar/harness (no choke chains, please), your dog's favorite food (in a sealed container), medications.

Optional Items: Favorite toy, bedding (we will gladly provide bedding if needed at no additional cost).

Daycare is available Monday - Friday for either morning (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM) or afternoon (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM) sessions, or for the whole day. If you need weekend daycare, please call us for availability.

Daycare rates start at $15 for a half-day (morning or afternoon, 7-12 or 3-6), and $25 for a full day. We also offer blocks of daycare credits that never expire at a reduced rate. See the options below:

Half-days are 1 credit each, full days are 2 credits each.

While your dog is at The Dog House for daycare, they will enjoy supervised play time with other dogs and time with our friendly staff.
